Being pedantic about dates, I wanted to change my dates from US format to Australian format, i.e., dd/mm/yyyy, I went to the wrong part of Tools (Options) and keyed in what I was the suggested format only to have everyone in my family tree (3000+ names) all with the same date of birth, that same date recorded as their date of christening/baptism, immigration, marriage, death.
I tried resolving the problem by correcting individual records - the dates would not change.
I communicated the problem to Technical Support (Dean) at My Heritage. He suggested one method. Again, I used the wrong part of the Options - I printed the screen, sent it to him. In the interim I had visions of starting all over again, 3000+ names - a long haul.
Dean sent me a screen print of where I should go to resolve the problem - "x" key strokes later, problem resolved and everyone was back to the original information.
I am extremely grateful for the advice received and the fact I can get on with the task of bringing my family history up to date with little fuss as necessary.
In summary, I would recommend My Heritage to a friend.
