It works fine, from time to time I require technical help and Support. The Support is provided and helps to find & rectify the technical Problems.

I wish the Support Team great success in dealing with the customers.

I chose MyHeritage Family Tree Builder because it was initially free, had easy-to-use features and a multitude of options in terms of layout and possibilities for inclusion of detail. I also found the Charts and Reports options very useful.

I used the software to construct my family tree for the first time electronically and as I exceeded the 250 person limit for the free 'Basic'package I upgraded to Premium. The cost of this was reasonable compared to Ancestry.com. However, I am not a genealogy 'freak' so once I had my tree constructed I was not going to get value for money in researching and adding new family members, etc. I wanted to revert to the Basic' package but found this hard to do on the MyHeritage website. For obvious reasons they don't want people to downgrade but eventually I got a response from the customer support team which acceeded to my request. It is, of course, useful for MyHeritage to have as many members as possible, even at the basic level, as they then hold data access to which they can charge for.

My experience with MyHeritage has been very good. I have been able to add many ancestors and facts about them thanks to the MH process that sends me regular messages about matches that their software found in other members' family trees. I recently asked for help with turning off a feature and I received a simple and effective solution in an email the next day. The only concern that I have about the information I receive from those other members is that I cannot tell how well their facts have been researched and documented. As a result, I don't have full confidence in these facts.

Have been with this site for three years and it has helped me enormously in extending my family tree. There are lots of areas to search though sometimes the information I enter seems to be ignored. I recently had cause to query the charges made to my account and received a quick and helpful response which answered my questions and gave me reassurance.the ability to store documents and photos have helped to spread interest in my tree among family members and more tenuous links have been cemented. I would recommend my heritage to anyone researching family trees as a site which gives value for money and scope to search successfully.

After the latest update of Family Tree Builder one of my family trees didn't work properly. I hate up-dates of computer programmes!!! So after a couple of days of trying to fix the problem and getting nowhere, the "tree" just stopped appearing. Disaster!!! However help was just a phone call away. I was ably assisted by Adina at MyHeritage Support team. Problem solved in a matter of minutes. Excellent service. Thanks Adina.

While copying records from one tree to another I inadvertently left out a succession line.
I could not work out how to add it without deleting all the records above.

I used the MyHeritage on-line help and got a reply very quickly - even though there is a significant time difference with me being in New Zealand.

I still could not follow the instructions so requested more information.

I received a phone call and was guided through step by step to a successful conclusion.

This 20 odd minute call was very well received and the directions were easy to follow. This is REAL tech help.
I am very pleased with the support being provided.

Sharon,
He helped me smoothly with some issues I had.
Within a few minutes correction was made.
Back office is very important. I am through
with RFQ (Frequently Asked Question).
I want a person to talk to. Yes!!
Create jobs that "end users" need.
Sharon, you rock!!.

Recommendation for development.
More marketing in Singapore, Malaysia, India and Sri Lanka.
There a lot of stories and families to hook up.

I have been a member of My Heritage for about 5 years and in that time, have had very few problems.

Recently I suddenly had a reduction in the numbers of updates and Smart Matches that I was receiving. I sent a message to My Heritage, explaining as best I could my dilemma.

Within 48 hours,an email arrived with several suggestions, the first one worked & I informed the Team Member at My Heritage, who then by email,explained what I had done to cause the problem & what had been done to correct it, he also had added an upgrade to one feature, which has been a huge help.

Concurrently I needed assistance in transferring information to a friend for whom I had started establishing his Family Tree. As I had emailed the file, I had left some information in the file which maintained a link to me.

I received a phone call yesterday from my Helper at My Heritage & despite the huge distance & time difference we went most of the way to solving the problem. I had some problems opening an uploaded file, but this problem was quickly resolved upon contacting the web site. They even contacted me back several times asking if I achieved a satisfactory outcome.
Their representative Marina was most approachable and helpful.

This problem was only a minor one; I never had any major ones with this web site and I'm happy to keep my page where it is - with myHeritage.

Today 10/9/2015 I rang the My Heritage organisation and asked for assistance with the couple of issues named above. I pleased to say both problems were dealt with in a very pleasant manner and follow up e-mails provided to underpin the sessions advice. It's a great relief when issues that can bug one when learning to use the software are dealt with so efficiently, effectively and pleasantly and it bodes well for my future preparedness to ask for help when I'm stuck in that I'm now confident that I'll get any help I need.
