After trying three other software programs for genealogy data (downloaded from ancestry.com) I found myheritage to be the easiest to navigate. I am only a free subscription right now but am very pleased! I plan to upgrade soon so that I can add more family members.

myheritage allows the user to produce a variety of different reports, depending upon your interest. I like that I can add in information on current family members, such as email, addresses, occupations, etc.

I am a new user so I am probably missing some key features, but I have to say--this one beats the others out of the ballpark!

(Oh, and they even deleted some information for me--I was married and then divorced, and did not want my married name as my "official" name. Very nice people!

I have been a member for a number of years and have nothing but praise for this site.
I recently had a problem bringing up my family tree even though I could download all other data.
Getting in touch with help section was easy and the help was second to none.Their patience was amazing and their help instructions were simple and easy to follow and eventually everything was back to normal.
The whole site is easy to follow and info on matches come thick and fast which is a great help.
I would have no qualms about recommending it to anybody wanting to start searching their family.

I have been using My Heritage for several years now. It has been easy to work with once you understand how. From time to time I have had to send in to customer service for help and every time they have responded quickly,but more importantly a detailed explanation of how to correct my issues. I know feel I can navigate better. I unfortunately do not spend enough time on a daily basis to justify a knowledgeable assessment of how this service compares to others,all I can say my family and I find it accurate and able to keep track of our family events. The interface seems to be well thought out.

As a user of Family tree software for years, I ended up with MyHeritage about 7 years ago.

I find MyHeritage top of the top. It's isn't the cheapest, but farout the best programm I know. Very easy to work with and user friendly for even the most unhandy on the computer. It is indeed value for your money. And more search possibilities are added through the years.

Although answers from the helpdesk sometimes take a while, my experience is that they do their utmost to help you and don't stop before there is a solution for your problem.

I am an user for life!

When I started using the site I only had a part of my family tree printed in paper. Many data Was missing and it Was outdated. Using the site Was super easy and it Was a lot of work, because there Was so much information not because it Was difficult. The matches with other trees started to appear and so I Was able to Update and complete a lot of branches in my tree. I actually started a friendship with members of my family tree I dont know personally but with whom we share some ancestors, and who are also usling the site! And that is fun!

There have been not many problems with the site, but if an issue appeared, the people in the technical support were Always there and Always answering my questions and enquires.
I am proud of the work I made with my family tree, but it wouldnt have been possible without this site. My tree now goes back up to the year 1592...with a direct ancestor...isnt that amazing? And all thanks to the people who built this site and the team who works for making it of excellence.

Being a member for 5 yrs has been a very rewarding for me.I must say using the Data subscription is great. I have found things in Newspapers that I have been searching for awhile. When I first started with My Heritage it was a little confusing but after practice I was able to find things with no problem. As for the App side of My Heritage is one of the best I can always be garanteed it opens when I use it. Unlike other tree products where it closes unexpectedly. My Heritage has one of the best programs out their. I get notifications,reminders,matches with no problems. One of the questions I ask myself is will I renew my subscription " oh yes" without a doubt good by Roots magic, and Ancestry, Hello again to My Heritage.

Have little knowledge of topic but I took a plunge and started. Everything went well and with some guidance from the site I was able to get started and made some good progress, I feel anyway. Thank You for your support.

When my father passed away, the only references I could find in his possessions regarding my ancestry was a few hand scribbled notes. No photos. No nothing.
He had obviously been trying to find out more about his family and I decided there and then that I would leave a complete history of mine, and my wife's family for our children.
In 2010 I searched the internet for a free genealogy program and discovered My Heritage. And I never looked back. By the time the family I had discovered had grown to 250, I was quite happy to pay a subscription to continue growing the family ,and being able to continue publishing to the My Heritage Website, even though it wouldn`t have cost a penny to continue growing it only on my computer.
Smart Matching ,which was exclusive to My Heritage was a great help in discovering my family on other peoples trees, and in recent years when Record Matching was introduced (at an extra subscription), I was again happy to subscribe, even though I am a pensioner, with not a lot of money to throw around.The great thing about this is that in the background both Smart Matching, and Record... I had some problems with "unknown" names at my family tree and sent a message to MyHeritage support. In less than 24 hours I received an answer with a guide to solve my problems. Now my family tree is ok.

I found My Heritage via Stumbleupon and I've not regretted using it to start a family tree. This got me searching for other similar applications to see how they differ. Overall, My Heritage is my top choice for the purpose.

Apart from the fun and exciting part of it, the application is very useful to keep families close knit and bonded. It is also totally infectious. At least, for my circle of relatives.They love it, too.
I really do not have any negative sentiments about this product. It is simply awesome!
