Best site for ease of use, organization, and presentation. 99% of what I did required no help; but when I did need assistance a smiling knowledgeable staff person was there to provide information.

With this site I was able to reconnect with family in Europe that World Wars and the subsequent Iron Curtain had prevented for multiple decades. So, wonderful was my experience it prompted the best attended Family Reunion we ever had with attendees from both sides of the Atlantic. So successful was my research it cleared confusion of how branches were connected. It gave true reason why we held each other so dear. Our family was even published in a US national newspaper for our European heritage.

Although I have a very low income, I will continue subscribe to MyHeritage because it is important to me to keep researching my family tree, and I have made great progress as a subscriber to MyHeritage. I especially appreciate the function that allows me to search for the discrepancies in my family tree that came when I added other people's research before I realized that other people's research might have errors (such as a parent dying a century before their child was born!) Although I have only needed to call customer service once, I found the customer service representative to be knowledgeable and able to solve my problem, which involved billing. The problem had nothing to do with MyHeritage. It was just that my credit card had been compromised, and I called to make sure that MyHeritage had been able to bill me through the replacement credit card number. Also of great value to me is that, through MyHeritage, an extensive pdf can be created which makes all my family tree information easily accessible and understandable. I have been with My Heritage for at last 8yrs and have been overall very happy. I am a Premium Plus member and find that this level of membership is well worth the extra money. Beyond my yearly membership, I pay nothing extra for all of the valuable connections such as burial records, baptismal records, immigration records, smart matches, historical record matches.

I today had a different issue in that while my Family Tree Builder was a 4 and the newest version is 8, I had called Technical help and they walked me through the process of installation. We thought that all was fine but the old version was not overwritten and the program reverted to version 4.
I again called Technical assistance and had a great technician named Juan. He walked me through uninstallation of the program f/b re-install of version 8.
Juan was calm, easy to understand, and his directions were flawless. The problem was resolved. We tested it by closing down and restarting my computor and everything is resolved and working great. JUAN in Israel get a top rating. If there was a 10, he would get it.

Am now awaiting my DNA results from My Heritage also.

First: There are no bad points. I spoke to DANA on the phone and she probably could hear HOW HAPPY I WAS, HAVING RECEIVED MY RESULT RECENTLY.

Well, let me start

1. There was always a family secret ( I had the feeling) about Jewish relatives. My dutch grandmothers maiden name is HIMMELREICH , which is a typical Jewish name. My great uncle ( mothers uncle, grandmothers brother) was a dutch priest and in concentration camp in DACHAU near MUNICH. He died of medical experiments they did on him. IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED I AM 5,7 % ASHKENAZI JEWISH . I feel so happy about that ! Not only because the secret has been lifted, but Jewish people are in our world for thousand of years, and I am part of it, may I say YEAH !!!! Our niece has been diagnosed with lactose intolerant. Looking up about ASHKENAZI JEWISH I could read , that many of them carry a gene, which makes them lactose intolerant. Maybe it shows again in our niece.
If only politicians from 1933 to the end of the 2nd world war would have done a DNA on all the people,if they would have been intelligent, they had... (Read the full review)

My wife and I both had our DNA done, we submitted the findings to my heritage and they had our DNA findings saying that we were 100% the same and we were both related to the same people all over the world. Being she is 100% Northern Europe and I'm 25% Eastern Asia we knew that something was wrong. I called My Heritage waited on the phone a couple of minutes for help and then Aron answered, I explained what was happening and it took him about 15 seconds to see what the problem was. Both of our DNA were registered in my name, Aron had me go into the website explained what to do and had everything straightened out in a couple of minutes, now my wife has 4 pages of possible relations and I have 2 pages. Thank you again Aron for the quick and accurate fix.

I have been waiting patiently to hear my DNA results and got an e-mail saying there was a problem so I called right away. I was told leave your number and we will get back to you shortly. No one ever got back to me. After a 3rd try and waiting on hold for about 15 min. it was a pleasure to finally speak with Linoy and get help with my problem. She was very friendly helpful . I can't wait to see what my results are next week.

Wow...I can't discredit anyone else's experience but mine was EXCELLENT. I received my kit in a timely fashion, I sent it back on February 28th, got my results yesterday (March 28th)! I called to ask questions, my wait time was about 10-15 minutes due to the volume of calls they receive. I had a very pleasant rep that helped me to understand, he answered all of my questions. His name was Breck!! This man talked to me 30 minutes and 41 seconds!! I learned why certain DNA doesn't show up due to our gene pools. I now understand why the East African (Somalia) didn't show eventhough it showed 99.97% on another test on my mom's side of my family. That's when he explained the difference between Mitochondrial DNA and this test which is Autosomal DNA. This helped me understand why 99.97% Somali on my maternal grandmother's side did not show in me!! I also learned why the Native American didn't show...even though my great, great grandfather was half Cherokee. Some people are hating that Africa is showing up in their DNA, but unless a person is pure race...you might expect for it to show up...even if a tiny percentage. I... (Read the full review)

I spoke to Olivia this evening regarding a problem with changing my email address and password she solved my problem with precision and was very polite in her dealings with me I would highly recommend her work ethic and I would be pleased to recommend My Heritage to anyone interested in starting a family

I had trouble getting my DNA kits to register. When I called the number for help I waited for an hour but when I finally got a real person he was very patient and helpful.

Ron had me start the process again after deleting cookies. He walked me through the entire process and I finally got the DNA kits registered. The only draw back was the long wait on the phone but I did like the fact that they kept telling you where you were in line.

I would recommend this site to my friends and family.

I had a few questions that confused me. I was put thru to Customer Service. The young man (MARKUS) who helped me did answer all of my questions and he UN-Confused me.

I would want everyone to know that this is one heck of a great company and my customer service help was The BEST. !!!
