I have been on Findagrave for over 11 years. But I finally getting tired of it. They have terrible customer support. The adverts on the pages sometimes get to be too much. They delete memorials without notifying the creator. They have no way of blocking rude members from contacting you.. you either accept message from everyone or no one.. what a mickey mouse system.
I started to delete all the memorials/photos I added (I only managed abt 950 memorials). I will keep the ones I sponsor there... but I will also be moving those to my own website along with any others I find of interest. I am not going to let Findagrave make money off of my research when they do nothing to make the site a safe, comfortable and supportive environment... bye bye Findagrave..
In summary, I would not recommend Find A Grave to a friend.
