Tribal Pages? You can't go wrong.

Tribal Pages is without any doubt the best place to store your family history and make it available for your family to view an organized way without any cost to them.

The security features are excellent and allow you to decide how you want them set. You can set up albums in your photo section. The family lines are a great feature. As is the relationship tool.

The basic free site is great by itself - the upgrades only enhance the experience family members have in viewing photos, stories, documents, etc.

After four or five years of designing and running my only family website to hold my genealogy research and then finding Tribal Pages - I shut it down and moved everything to Tribal Pages.

I just don't see how anyone could go wrong here.

In summary, I would recommend Tribal Pages to a friend.

This is a great site for posting your trees on the web. It is free unless you want some of the special features, including exporting GEDcoms. The Search within a site works great. The search across all sites for a name works fine, but is sometimes months out of date.

This is not how I enter data, as I have a better program for that, but that program has poor websites which cost a lot of money. So thanks to whoever developed the GEDcom standard, which allows me to use TribalPages for my public websites.

In summary, I would recommend Tribal Pages to a friend.

It is easy to use but limited charts and reports. I wanted to print a descendent tree with pictures but that is not available. I had some technical questions but was unable to get anyone to respond. I tried to make the tree available to my family members but it did not work for me. I tried using both the online technical forum and direct email but received no response. I dished out for the Deluxe option oh well I will have to work a few extra hours.

In summary, I would not recommend Tribal Pages to a friend.
