I have had absolute shocking service from Ancestry in the UK. I tried to cancel back in April by e-mail. Then again in June and I just recently noticed they'd taken money again...when I rang the 'helpline' the disinterested staff (based in Ireland?) said they would finally cancel the subscription me the six months but not refund the 6 x payments they had taken against my wishes. They are now not responding to my e-mails. If you are thinking of using this geneology site do a quick google search and type in 'problems with ancestry.com and you will see dozens of customers with similar customer service complaints. SHOCKING!
In summary, I would not recommend Ancestry.co.uk to a friend.
