I will comment solely about the help desk service of MyHeritage.com.

In the past the only way to get info from them was to post a letter on one of their forums and sometime later, perhaps, someone might make a comment. If you were lucky it was s a staff member. Only recently I discovered they have have a phone-in help desk. I used it today and got lots of assistance from Sharon, originally from Holland. She gave me detailed explanations about how to use the Family Tree Builder, how to eliminate duplicates that showed up in the trees, how to import and synchronize data, and some other tips. She really knew the area I was inquiring about.

This is a great improvement. Now that I am aware of its existence I will use it when I need assistance in the future.

In summary, I would recommend My Heritage to a friend.

Have been using MyHeritage for nearly 6 years. Built a comprehensive family history with minimal trouble. Has a great feature which compiles a printable album from the information on file. This allows one to hand it down the generations without fear that the file storage will be replaced by another technology.

Have lately had my first problems with the Family Tree Builder which seem to be due to the transition from Windows 8 to 10. These could not be solved by the very helpful support personnel but since I in any case work in the cloud, have just continued on the myheritage site which has all the facilities of the FTB.

In summary, I would recommend My Heritage to a friend.

I had issues with some of the site features and emailed Myheritage. They responded in a timely matter and followed up with a phone call to make sure the problems were resolved. I appreciated the call and was happy the issue was resolved. I would recommend Myheritage site to anyone doing genealogy work.

I have been using My Heritage for 2 years now and am very satisfied with the program and the customer service they provide.

I love the printouts I can get of my tree, and the ability to store detail for future reference.

I have had a techie problem and on contacting them, they found it working alright at their end so must be my computer. To avoid me not being able to print a family sheet, they actually did it for me at their end and emailed it to me. I think that is excellent service.

The one thing I would like to see, is the subscription being able to be on a monthly basis. As I am retired I struggle with finding the whole amount in one go, also it means that like now, the NZ $ is not good against the US. By having the choice of paying monthly at least it would get the NZ $1 at a varying rate. By paying monthly, it would enable me to keep my subs up whereas now, I may have to let it go when the due date comes up.

I would certainly recommend my friends to use this program.

I had contacted My Heritage, as my site was failing to load. They were prompt with their reply. The instructions were clear and precise for even me to follow.

After information was sourced from me and sent back to My Heritage, the problem was sorted out. I even got the final reply over the weekend.

I had already recommended to a friend this site, and would do so again. It is easy to use, although I do prefer the old screens to the new format, however there were some great new features.

It took me some time to choose the proper gen program, but choosing My Heritage was a great Bingo!
The FTB is just excellent, easy to use, very friendly and straight forward. The whole program is dedicated to be a supportive tool for the amateur gen diggers.

During the last year, had no need for Support ( just to prove the program capabilities...). After installing Windows 10, had some need in help, and got it on the spot. So based on the onetime experience, the technical support provided is also excellent! Just another reason to warmly recommend My Heritage to all.

My Heritage provides a great resource to research and construct your family lineage as well as provides terrific customer service to make your task that much easier. I have traced some of my ancestors back to the 1400s, which really amazes me. Thank you My Heritage.

As a user of the My Heritage software I find I need to log in every day if possible as I am constantly amazed at how far I can trace my tree and how much information is available through matches with people world wide. To see census records detailing the family from generations ago, and all the other information available as a member of My Heritage encourages me to dig deeper. I find it is so easy to use, and I hope by my research through this site I will leave a record of past generations for my grandchildren

I have tried other genealogy family tree sites but I have chosen My Heritage as I really believe it gives me a more comprehensive offering at a more reasonable price

I have had to contact the help desk a few times and have always had prompt courteous responses which have resulted in clearing up my problems. (Usually a result of my ignorance!)

In summary, I would recommend My Heritage to a friend.

I have enjoyed being a member of myheritage and have found out a wealth of info about my roots, and read a lot of personalised stories. Thankyou myheritage for all your support I highly recommend you to anyone starting out.
