I've just got off the phone having spoken with Olivia at My Heritage and I just had to tell someone about it. My Heritage is good, maybe the best, I've always felt this, but since the the phone conversation it has risen even higher in my estimate. They are professional!

Yesterday I had to contact My Heritage in regard to removing certain family trees from the website.
A lady named Alon answered my call and very quickly picked up on my problems. She then talked me through the deleting process but I found that I was then required to contact the support team.
Alon then explained that she would do this for me and confirmed each tree that required deleting. She was very helpful and courteous about the whole situation and after we had completed the tasks I felt very confident that everything was exactly how I wanted it to be,

Solution of technical problems

Since 1 year, I work with the MyHeritage to build our Family Tree, which consists now of more than 17000 names.
But from a certain time on, the family tree builder software couldn't be synchronized with my family tree.
On March 3, I sent a message to MyHeritage and soon I got an answer with some instructions.
I followed them and sent in various log files.
After some deeper analyzes done by the technical experts, I got more instructions and followed them.
Those modifications in my computer settings brought the success, the synchronization process started to work again and runs perfectly.
With the assistance of the technical experts from MyHeritage I'm fully satisfied - many thanks to them !

As an older person who is totally incompetent with computers, I managed to make a few mistakes regarding the DNA kit. The ordering was easy, received it quickly, perfectly clear instructions, easy return mailing BUT, I thought results were to come by "snail" mail. While I was on vacation. I deleted
a few emails, thinking they were advertisements but when I got home, my daughter had already received
her results which she mailed much after mine. That's when she told me it should have been in my e-mail.
I had a hard time finding a phone number to speak to a real person and then waited for over 25 minutes BUT, when a human being actually came on the phone, he was a darling!! His name was Breck and he
was ever so patient with me even though I was slow at following his directions. My thanks to him and, kudos to the company. I have already promoted your company to many of my friends and family.

Called @ 2:01 EDT & was 1st in line. Had 2 questions which were both answered by Maya. Been a user for 3 years. In March, was auto extended for about $250. Too much. Called to cancel & was told about a half price offer, which I accepted. Did receive credit on my card. Do not get auto extend.

When I received my results I noticed some real weird locations even though they were tiny %. 93% was the English Isles, but they did not indicate if it was Scotland, Britain, or Ireland. I called for assistance, and had to wait an hour and ten minutes to talk to someone. While waiting the music was blaring and distorted. Annoying to say the least. When I did get to speak to a rep. she said they would be sending more additional info along in a week or two. Hope they can refine their search a bit more. I myself knew from checking the origin of my name that it came from the Isles. I was hoping they could determine what part.

I had a good result working wth support, everything was fix in about ten minutes or less. Very helpfully and even offer different options on how the tree issue could be fixed. Though waiting on the phone was a bit lengthy, about an hour.

I have been a satisfied user of MyHeritage (& FTB) for just over two years now. On balance, I have had good experience with the product. There were two incidents where program upgrades caused syncing problems, but those were quickly corrected. Recently, I had a billing question, so I called the help center. I live in Israel & called the local number. On my first try, I got a message that they weren't able to take my call, and suggested that I try later. This happened 4 more times, with me trying to call at different times of day & on different days. I sent an email request for help and got an automated reply, along with a case #, saying someone would be shortly in contact with me. Two or three days later, I got a second email from "Andrew" saying he would be happy to help me with my question, but there was no personal contact information for him (only the general support email address). He didn't address my billing question at all in the email. After 6 days, with no answer from MyHeritage, I finally left a... (Read the full review)

Good web site. Very poor Help line! Unlikely DNA !

I joined MH 2 years ago after trying out various other sites, and have been very happy indeed with their search programs. So much so that I signed up this year for the additional Records match package and have been inundated with information!
My only problem has been with the DNA results which didn't seem to have any relation to my previous certified history.
I've tried calling their help line ( Spain and England) on several occasions, been left hanging on, and on....have left several messages and sent an email, all without any joy! So regrettably I must give 0 stars for their Help line!
I finally got through today and thankfully found someone that called me back within 30 mins, explained the possible problem to me and has promised a solution. A very nice girl, pleasant , polite and professional. So 5 stars for this young lady!
-In principal I would recommend the web site for information and search engine.
-I Wouldn't recommend taking the DNA test until they have perfected their system for results. They say about the end of April.
-Their Help Line , Spain, needs to be completely reviewed.

I signed up a year ago. It wasn't what I thought because they wanted more money for search. I cancelled membership and asked for a full refund. I thought it was all settled. Wrong. I got a renewal notice stating they were taking $159 from my credit card. Don't know how they can renew something that was to have been cancelled. I called the billing department and was placed in a que #24. I got as far as #3 and was disconnected. Total waste of time on my part. I called back and now was #29. Not going through with that drill again. Not impressed by support or customer service. Sorry I ever used this company and would never suggest anyone sign up for this service. Waste of money.
