I was impressed by the interest shown by the attendant when seeking solutions to encountered problems. The problem was not solved immediately but I got a promise that the relevant programming departments would revert within a fortnight.

Shimon provided us with very friendly and effective help in resolving an issue we had when moving our family tree builder and data to a new computer. Answered all our questions and was very patient.

My daughter-in-law was listed as my son's partner, not wife. I emailed the problem, and Maya responded that day. She asked for a screen shot of the problem, and solved it the next day.
I'm impressed.

I joined MyHeritage several years ago, and I recently dusted it off and started using it. After a little bit of time, I had some problems with adding people to my family tree, and the support team was a great help. I honestly can't find anything to criticize.

As a part of a population project, I was offered a free run with the DNA and I couldn't have been more excited. Thanks to the wonderful customer support for helping with all the queries and concerns. Keep up the good work guys!

A very charming young lady took my enquiry with great understanding, and was able to confirm that I would be quite unable to do what I wanted - in the nicest possible way!

It confirmed my suspicions, but it in no way detracted from the high regard in which I hold the people at MyHeritage who operate a system that in 99.9% of the time is as efficient as one would possibly hope for.

What I wanted to do was to delete about 100 pages of SmartMatches all of whom seemed to be of the most spurious links viz. 3rd cousin 10 times removed sister-in-law's half-brother. If I was to confirm them all I would have a family tree of enormous proportions, but little relevance.

But that is one of the smallest hairs in the gate. The film is always worth watching. That my family tree is where it is now is mainly due to the huge amount of input from MyHeritage, and their alpha plus assistance which is always available when wanted - in my case that is rarely.

Today I spoke with Frey Forsland a tech with MyHeritage. She competently answered my questions about FTB-Family Tree Builder as well as about the site. I have been managing my site for about 8 years and am constantly learning more options and occasionally learning new innovations and changes. Frey is knowledgeable and concise and able to impart and answer questions in a clear and friendly way.

I ordered a DNA kit, what followed was an order confirmation email, nothing about an estimated date of delivery was included. When I called the customer service number to inquire through their sale department I reached an automated message giving me my place in line along with non-stop background music, this is a painfully L-O-N-G waiting process ! Finally a human answered telling me that my order should ship in a couple of weeks, whoa ! Again finally ... I got an email notice that my kit has shipped and that I can track my order online, theirs is not a website for dummies, not setup to make navigating even easy for the least savvy person. Once I figured out how to reach the page for tracking my order, I entered the tracking number using cut & paste, The USPS can't locate any such tracking number after trying 3 times !!!!

I suspect that this is a business run from someones garage, very bad website, very bad service after the sale.

In summary, I would not recommend My Heritage to a friend.

Easy to navigate. I actually prefer MyHeritage site more than Family Tree Builder but that is just my preference; the trees are easier for me to read.

Customer service has been wonderful! They are patient with inexperienced users like myself.

As a brand new subscriber to My Heritage, I called for help in how to use both My Heritage and Family Tree Builder. Fortunately, I got a young lady named Brigitte. She patiently led me through a myriad of situations in a clear and understandable way, and always in the most pleasant way possible. For any and all of Brigitte's supervisors: keep an eye on this young lady--she is the best tech rep I have ever worked with from any company I have ever worked with. Brigittte is a tremendous asset for My Heritage!
