I’m enjoying this site very much. It was great to find out that I could upload my DNA file from Ancestry to MyHeritage and find new matches. I had an issue with my ancestral surnames not showing to my matches. As I have a free account, I couldn’t call their support team but I sent an email and Ron G. was very helpful and solved my problem for me.

After researching various genealogy services, I initiated my trial membership with My Heritage. Before I was even able to utilize the resources available through this site, a family member was impacted significantly by Hurricane Michael. Stephen, a customer support representative, was most understanding in assisting me with my request to delay my full membership until our current family situation is resolved. His responsiveness will not go unnoticed when I am able to return to my genealogy efforts in the future. With people like Stephen in their organization, they have proven that my initial impression of their quality was correct. I was unable to accurately review those portions of this survey that I have not yet been able to assess, but their ratings for features, customer support, registration and value are 5. I look forward to utilizing their services again!

I’m a chubby old white haired Grandma in the Midwest USA so there isn’t a lot of “easy” things to do on the internet but I did catch on to Ancestry a lot easier than MyHeritage. I find MyHeritage difficult to navigate. I was going to stop my subscription today until I spoke with CSR Stephen O’Dwyer. A most courteous, helpful and professional young man who did provide me with helpful hints and information. I’ll stay at it for a few more days but I am losing hope I will find anything further regarding my husband’s grandmother Ella Heffernan. Thank you.

I called to find out why I am being charged to use Heritage as I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and we have been indexing all records for all sites.

I appreciate the assistance I received from a wonderful customer service agent, she was very helpful in resolving this issue for me. I appreciate her help, she was gracious and lovely to talk with.

After me updating the tree all my confirmed matches disappeared as did the Smart matches. I had also updated 3 other people´s DNA, they also disappeared. Under handle my DNA I found 5 batches of which 2 seemed to belong to me, the others had batch Nos. but no names to go with the batches. I was asked to look into FTDNA for these batch Nos. but couldn't find them there and when looking into these batches contents, they all seemed to be my own! Ilona was very pleasant to talk to and also explained that the disappeared Smart and Confirmed batches would probably return after a while as it usually took some time for the system to handle all the matches. When updating my new tree I also deleted my old trees, which may have been a mistake, I don't know.

I discovered a new family relative in the mid portion of my family tree which includes about 1700 individuals.

Although I have used My Heritage for some time, I did not realize that you could cut and move a major portion of the family tree with only a few key strokes. The technical advisor, Ivan, was able to show me how to execute my changes in only about two minutes where I had been struggling for several hours.

I had made a mistake by sending off the DNA pack for my husband but didn't register first. After contacting customer support by phone Megan talked me through it and I was able to rectify immediately. I love the fact that you can get up to date information on the status of your pack as to where and when you will receive the results. This was a birthday present from my daughter to her dad and he can't wait to see the result.

I asked for help to discontinue my annual subscription. It was getting too expensive and I seldom accessed the site. I was pleasantly surprised at the professional assistance I received from Bert. Not only was Bert willing to assist me, he clarified some of my misunderstandings about the website. I had not accessed nor posted info onto the My Heritage site for over 2 years. Bert helped me understand that I would still have access to my account and even helped me to delete another account that was a partial duplicate I'd created long ago. Now I am eager to update and clean up my family tree, thanks to Bert. I have to commend the efficient and friendly customer service I received at My Heritage. Thank you!

My personal opinion on the MyHeritage program

I started composing my tree a long time ago and tried several American programs. But when my relatives from Israel recommended your program to me, I realized that this is what I need. And for about ten years now I have been using this program.

In my opinion, everything in the MyHeritage program is thought out very well and for the convenience of users .
At the same time, over the years, the program and services have become better and more convenient and diverse. There are many additional services, interesting statistics and many different amenities.

I want to advise users to better and more often study the possibilities of the program, to monitor changes, because the program covers a huge space for saving and processing information.

And of course, when problems arise, the development team helps to solve these problems very professionally (although not as quickly as we would like).

I want to recommend your MyHeritage program to all people who want to leave any information about themselves and their ancestors for future generations.

I wish the developers of the program and the whole team success on a high level, good luck and eternal life in the global network. (Read the full review)
