I have been a member of My Heritage some year now and are most grateful for everything I have discovered in my searching. I have added quit a member of relatives and also get in touch with relatives that I didn't know I had. We came together in a huge family reunion last year. they came from different parts of Sweden and from the US.

Suddenly last year I got problems and couldn't see and do everything I used to do earlier. My left side was blank. I contacted your technical support and they where most helpful. We had some correspondence and Jonas asked me to try another web-reader so I changes from Safari to Fire fox and whops. All my problems where solved.

What I value very much in My Heritage is that they develop the program all the time an add new exciting sides to it.

I will certainly recommend it to others who I don't have recommended it to before.

I hope I can use Heritage many years to come.

I started my Paternal Family Tree in 2011 with My Heritage, with no knowledge on how to go about it. The My Heritage Team have always been very supportive and encouraging and shown an interest in my venture. I have not been in a financial position to purchase much in the way of data subscriptions but without exception those who have called me have shown great understanding and consideration, never giving me the feeling that I was a "lost cause".

In spite of my limited access to research, through the Smart Matches and Record Matches, and the contact with other site members who share relatives, I have found out more about my ancestors through my association with My Heritage than I ever imagined possible in my wildest dreams. One of my greatest joys was hearing from hitherto unknown relatives. The Smart Matches, though time consuming, provide a great deal of information and if dates, etc differ, by reviewing them and the consensus of the matches it is possible to confirm information.

I use it My Heritage because it is easy to use, from the beginning to where I'm now. I'm telling other people to use it , because the first start off is good , and when you use this you want to keep going.
You guys did a good job on the program.

I joined this site in 2013 with only basic family information. I have both my husband and my families in one large group right, almost 24,000, as I find it easier than switching between two different trees. I have not used any other system so have no comparisons but would never switch since I find everything I want on this site. The research and smart records are invaluable and since I bought into that portion I have been able to add info to almost anyone I research. I love the easy extraction from record matches to my tree. I also love the charts and reports that can be made in minutes. I do find working with the tree online to be tedious but at some point will be breaking down into smaller trees.

I can not remember when I first came across the software. I recall it had something to do with wanting to get some information on family. I started out I believe on a site called "Web Detective". I was surprised to find that I could not even find myself. I mean I searched by Name, address, State etc. Then I went shopping in an electronics store, there they had different areas of software. After looking at a few, I came up with My Heritage. I love how easy it is to input information and how it is displayed. After putting in many hours, I found one day that the site opens up to another site. This new migration doesn't suit me, I guess I have become spoiled working in the original software. I did have an issue trying to delete some sites, so as to have just one Premium site. It took some doing emailing support a few times, but it just done. The staff are helpful. I have been using MyHeritage family tree builder and the family tree it constructed.
I am very happy with the product and the ease of use it provides.

The Family Tree builder software upgrades the family tree side through sync icon including all information and photo's.

The information on smart matches is important though not being able to view the match without being a full member is a bit troublesome. The restriction number of 250 family members before a paid upgrade is a little low for big families and pensions like myself, though, I can understand that the site and all information has to be maintained and there is very little that can be gained in the world for no cost these days. The ability to create family books and print of full copies is a brilliant idea, please keep this process available.

The MyHeritage team appear to spend a lot of time researching and providing hints and frendly advice on new record follow ups.

I will continue to use the site and would highly re-comment MYHeritage Family Tree builder and the Family Tree site it creates.

I am managing a multi-thousand member tree and have extensively researched and tested the various products in the market. My Heritage easily ranks on the top when judged by all key selection criteria (interface, functionality, value, customer support). I highly recommend it over any other product.

I can imagine a genealogical software database would be a major target to information thieves to create havoc in our lives. Despite being locked out of the local program (not our Family Web site) awhile simply because of a hard drive and memory upgrade My Heritage support is systematic and thorough. (Thanks again, Melody!)

But, I would rather all this family identity information be private and secure as possible. I'm a retired IT professional, and nothing is always perfect or static in the computing world. It's a constant race against the good IT's and the bad ones. On the bright side it improves the product faster and makes it more secure, so use a strong password and get a Password Book from the UPS Store (Wellspring brand if I recall). Beats memorizing weak passwords you use everywhere. When prompted to change your password do so to another equally or stronger password.

Overall, my wife and I are pleased with My Heritage's product and can recommend it.

Siden jeg startet med My Heritage, har all min tid vært opptatt av dette programmet.
Som nybegynner var det nok en del problemer, og jeg hadde liten glede av skriftlig support,
men så kom jeg over support på nettet. Der har jeg fått meget god hjelp. Det har resultert I
at jeg er meget godt fornøyd med opplegget og programmet. Jeg anbefaler det til alle som jeg
diskuterer slekt med.

Since I started with My Heritage, has all my time been concerned about this program. As a beginner, it was some problems, and I had no benefit of the written support, but then I came in contakt with online support. Where I've got very good help. This has resulted in that I am very pleased with the arrangement and the program. I recommend it to everyone that I discusses related.

After joining and paying for a 2 year membership I discovered that unless I paid an additional $9.95 per month I could not see anything I had researched.Click on research and it tells you that it has a number of things, records etc but to access them you need to pay an additional $9.95 a month!All you get for the membership is the ability for " smart matches" which is nothing more than a match up of what other people have put on the site, with none of the accompanying records to prove their entries are backed up by solid evidence such as birth certificates or death certificates. The software is lame! Once you have checked out a smart match and verified it the smart match is still displayed by the name, thus you have no idea which ones you have checked out.It does not remove the research symbol when you have checked out that either. So unless you keep a hand written record of the smart matches you have already checked out you could be going back over the same people over and over again.

In summary, I would not recommend My Heritage to a friend.
