Our family tree has close to 7000 names and I have tried all of the different genealogy sites. My Heritage is by far the best. Customer service is excellent. I had a complex problem that I had to solve. Within 24 hrs, support had gotten back to me and helped me through the difficulty.

The Smart matches are invaluable and I am not aware of any competitor that has such strong software. The site is easy to navigate and the results can be formatted in a multiple of ways, considerably more than the competitors. I also think the graphics are superior to the other sites. All in all I would strongly recommend.

I have been using MyHeritage for some time now, and found it to be easy to use. Soon after I started using this software I upgraded to Premium.

I am very happy with the options this software offers, and with the ability to share the information with many family members.

I must note the excellent help desk personnel who were there to provide assistance to problems I encountered until they were solved.

In summary, I would recommend My Heritage to a friend.

A very easy way to make the tree of your family. Not so expensive - until you want to research a little more - then it gets expensive, and that is a shame.

I submitted a support ticket to cancel my free trial as I couldn't figure out how to do it on their web site. No response and I was charged. I then created another support ticket. About a week later I got a call from an Account Manager in Israel. After 25 minute phone call of me continually asking for a refund and pleading my case, and him making offer after offer to keep me, I FINALLY got a full refund. Unreal and extremely frustrating. It was like calling Comcast. Very poor. STAY AWAY!!! There are other alternatives.

Only used it so far for 6 days with links site gives have sufficiently completed four sets of generation for my family on free trial back at least five generations each from my Maternal and Paternal grandparents so thanks for free trial. I recommend it. bit addictive though! bad point easy to get confused when you have Snr and a Jnr I had several and nearly put wrong wifes and siblings together. but you can if lucky get a link to a family tree that can sort you out but check they are correct as I got one who has linked children to their grandparents as their children. he didn't check a census double check those as they can double up or be misspelt.

I started using My Heritage in 2009 to create my family tree. A few years later I switched from a PC to a Mac and found that I could not access and update my tree. I ended up walking away from it, not happy with any solutions I could find. Recently, a death of a family member renewed my interest in the family tree. I logged back in, reminded of my frustrations. I decided to email My Heritage to share my frustration. Much to my surprise, they were able to make adjustments and grant me access to family tree while using a Mac! I haven't done much so far so I can't speak to the value of the paid service or if the search capabilities are great but I can say that the customer service I received WAS great! Now several family members have joined in, adding information easily! Thanks so much!

Dad was a bit overwhelmed. He had six kids and a hearing problem, so adding more voices to the mix was, well, contra-indicated. Add to this that the family stretches from Alaska to Florida and all points between. The upshot of this is that his six kids don't know their relatives. No visits to aunts and uncles. No idea how fun cousins could be. They had to wait until they'd reached adulthood, and joined MyHeritage.com to find out to whom they were related and how. We now have over 700 entries, including education, family stories, dates, baptisms, unusual birth and death details, and hundreds of photos.

Great features: a central repository for information gleaned from our seldom reunions, a place to see faces then and now, reminders of important dates, a service for sending a timely greeting, easy updates, and lots of potential matches.

Features that need some work: their database isn't always the easiest to navigate, and sometimes data winds up in the most unexpected places although it was entered in the proper field. The customer service is kind of slow, and emails to them must go into spam or elsewhere because... (Read the full review)

I have been using Myheritage since December 2009 and am very satisfied. Especially the Smart Match system that finds relatives and possible relatives around the globe. Sometimes the system is a little too eager to find possible matches, but they are easily disregarded.
The helpdesk has been most useful when needed.

Started using this because the application: Family Tree Builder was so easy to use. However, the site itself is even better to use. So I manage my trees online and my photo's in Family Tree Builder. I have, as a result, had to contact support over issues or queries regarding both. When you get a support ticket they stick with you until there is complete resolution.

By comparison to the web site the Family Tree Builder is sluggish and clumsy. Navigating the tree can be bothersome. It is not intuitive. However, in my opinion it is the best family tree application out there. I have tried some other 'big name' applications but this beats them all hands down.

Smart matching happens so fast! They are about 95% accurate matching which is really good. For me a Data Subscription makes a lot more sense then a site subscription to Premium Plus.

I do enjoy My Heritage. I would have scored five points except that their Irish records are thin on the ground. But I am really happy working away on this site and I would whole heartedly recommend... (Read the full review)

After trying three other software programs for genealogy data (downloaded from ancestry.com) I found myheritage to be the easiest to navigate. I am only a free subscription right now but am very pleased! I plan to upgrade soon so that I can add more family members.

myheritage allows the user to produce a variety of different reports, depending upon your interest. I like that I can add in information on current family members, such as email, addresses, occupations, etc.

I am a new user so I am probably missing some key features, but I have to say--this one beats the others out of the ballpark!

(Oh, and they even deleted some information for me--I was married and then divorced, and did not want my married name as my "official" name. Very nice people!
